Boninfante Enterprises, LLC is a family-owned business and is the largest distributor of high performance Raybestos clutch discs and components in professional drag racing. The Company also designs and manufactures products for drag racing applications: currently, both race car and motorcycle drag racing clutch units containing Raybestos discs and their component parts - which include numerous sizes and designs to encompass virtually any hard-core drag racing application. These parts include: sintered iron clutch discs, steel, steel coated and bronze floater plates, flywheels, and levers. Nearly every component part of a Boninfante clutch unit is manufactured “in-house”.

In addition to these components, the Company produces supercharger burst panels and kits, and various hardware for all manufactured parts. The Company’s products are used and distributed nationwide, and recently worldwide.

Nick Boninfante, Sr. founded the Company in 1988. Being a professional nitro funny car team owner and tuner for many years prior, he, like other team owners of the late 1980s and early 1990s, where unhappy with the current clutch companies he and others purchased their clutch parts. He decided to enter into the drag racing clutch market because the industry participants at the time were not providing quality parts nor were they interested in quality service. Since only a few small companies participated in this market, these providers of drag racing clutches were high-priced as well. Mr. Boninfante thought that he could do better, so he started the Company with these goals and objectives:

• To provide the highest quality parts in the industry;
• To provide customers with superior service and price;
• To maximize supplier and shareholder value.

The Company has succeeded by adhering to these core principles and by achieving the greatest economies of scale in the industry. For example, the Company offers the largest selection of sintered iron disc varieties in the industry. Since every professional drag race team uses something with little variations, such as size, hardness, and material, Boninfante can offer the customer the largest and most variable product selection in the industry.

As of 2008, Boninfante Ent. is now the current market share leader of sintered iron clutch discs in NHRA and IHRA professional drag racing sanctioning bodies, primarily the professional classes of Top Fuel Dragster, Top Fuel Funny Car, Pro Stock, , Pro Mods, Alcohol Dragsters and Funny Cars, and nitro burning motorcycles. These are the classes that utilize the high quality Raybestos sintered iron and floater clutch assemblies. The Company’s market share has grown considerably because of the ability to deliver the aforementioned quality, service, and price better than the competition.
